The Riosol Aparthotel is located in an elevated part of Puerto Rico on the south west coast of the beautiful island paradise of Gran Canaria. This 3 Star complex is great for couples and families with comfortable self-catering one and two bedroom apartments surrounded by lush gardens. A bus stops directly outside the resort to whisk guests away to the bustling centre of Puerto Rico or the famous Amadores beaches, and the complex is opposite the Europa centre with an array of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Gran Canaria Airport is 30 km from the hotel.
Local Tips: Sights such as Vegueta's historic old town, Tejeda, Roque Nublo nature park, the municipality of Teror with the sanctuary of the Virgin del Pino (Our Lady of the Pines) and the Cenobio de Valeron cave system are all to be found within 1 hour's drive of the apartments.
Hotel Facilities
Food, drink and entertainment: Self catering apartments with options for bed and breakfast and half board. Drinks or a snack and light meals can be found at the hotel's pool bar with an adjacent covered terrace to enjoy dining whilst taking in the most spectacular views imaginable. The main restaurant offers a superb and varied buffet breakfast and dinner buffet system with a programme of “theme buffets” featuring delicious international specialities. There is an extensive entertainment programme for both children and adults. Captain Haddock's music pub is also on hand for a la carte breakfast and dinner along with music and giant TV screens to enjoy live international sporting events.
Sports, games and activities: Two outdoor swimming pools and a children`s pool, play area, sun beds and parasols supplied free of charge. The complex has an excellent sports centre where many sports can be practised, most of them included in our free activity programme such as tennis, squash, basketball, aerobics, darts, table tennis, archery, rifle shooting, mini golf, and a gym. The hotel has a seasonal Mini Club and a games room with video games, Billards, internet cabins, etc. There are plenty of water sports at the beach, an Aqua Park 500 m away, and for golf lovers the Anfi-Tauro and Salobre golf courses are approximately 1 km from the complex.
Additional: 24 hour reception with multilingual staff, internet and telephone cabins and a large elegantly furnished lounge, currency exchange, car rental, tourist information, mail service, etc, well stocked supermarket with prices in line with any other supermarket in the area, coin operated launderette. Due to the hilly situation of the apartments, they may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Room Facilities
The Riosol Aparthotel features one or two bedroom apartments with one or two sofabeds. All apartments are equipped with Satellite TV (Coin operated), central music, telephone and electronic safes. Kitchens have a fridge, 2 ring vitroceramic hob, microwave oven and all the necessary equipment including kettle and toaster. All accommodation has private sea view terraces, most very ample and equipped with 2 sun beds. Apartments are cleaned 5 days a week, sheets are changed twice a week and towels three times a week. Rooms feature a shower only.
