The bay is a favourite spot for yachtsmen and there are boat trips for divers; windsurf boards and pedalos are for hire. Snorkellers can also enjoy the superb clear waters around the bay.

The Puerto Cala Vadella Apartments have a large swimming pool, and a smaller one for the children, with generous sun terraces and plenty of sun-beds. The pool bar has a wide variety of cool drinks and ices with a variety of snacks if guests do not feel like using the self-catering facilities. The Mini-Club is very popular with with children as it offers activities in the mornings and games in the afternoons. Table tennis and pool tables are also available. The attractive dining room looking onto the pool is air-conditioned; breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, with a well-chosen selection of dishes. After dinner, children safely tucked up, the convivial bar and lounge come to life when the guests get together and make new friends. The reception is available 24 hours a day for information including car hire and excursions. There is also a supermarket and regular bus services go to both Ibiza Town and San Antonio.
