This cruise embarks from Luxor every Wednesday for 7 nights, where you spend your first night before beginning your journey down the Nile the following day. The popular Sentido M/S Mahrousa is a deluxe cruiser perfect for intrepid travellers that want a dose of luxury with their adventures with various tours available, some of which are included in the cruise package to create an unforgettable experience on the Nile. Boarding in Luxor at the El Bughdaday Bridge, the cruise takes you up the river to Aswan and then back to Luxor. Good food, nice facilities and comfortable accommodation ensures satisfaction for the most exacting of guests while the crew offers true hospitality and a home away from home. Luxor Airport is 30 minutes from the docking point at Luxor Nile Port.  Please note, Nile cruises can only be booked for 4 or 7 night durations. Other durations will not be accepted.

Local Tips: Your journey will start in Luxor and you may discover such wonders as Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Valley of the Kings, and more!

Guests travelling on the 4 night cruise will depart Luxor and arrive in Aswan, transfers from Aswan to Luxor will need to be booked separately.

Room Facilities

The SENTIDO M/S Mahrousa features 56 deluxe outer cabins and junior suites equipped with onboard telephone, Satellite TV, mini fridge, safe box (free of charge), air conditioning, shower and WC. Located on the top deck, the junior suites are more spacious and have a sitting area.

Errata/Building Works

01/02/2012 - 29/02/2012
Due to industrial action being taken by the Ministries of water, Tourism and Agriculture the operations of the Esna and Nega Hamadi locks will be disrupted. Customers going on a Nile cruise should note that it will take longer to navigate the locks and when travelling to excursions in the Luxor area, such as Karnak temple, the transfers will take longer than normal. If the locks close during the industrial action then please be aware that you will be taken by coach to the waiting cruise boats located above the affected locks (this is a 90minute bus transfer).
