The Karim and Juliana Palace are identical ships, both small and comfortable and distinctly created to provide the privacy, elegance and luxury. They were designed and built in 1984 and renovated in 2004, and appointed to be as the large ships on the Nile. All public areas are air-conditioned. There is a 24 hour reception available to the guests, for whatever needs they would require. Please note that departures are only on Mondays. Nile Cruises can only be booked for 7 night durations.

- Monday; Check-in on arrival. Overnight onboard in Luxor.
- Tuesday; Sail to Edfu via Esna Lock. Overnight onboard in Edfu.
- Wednesday; Visit Edfu temple and sail to Aswan. Overnight onboard in Aswan.
- Thursday; Visit the High Dam, the temple of Philae and sail or motorboat around the islands of Aswan. Overnight onboard in Aswan.
- Friday; Optional trip to Abu Simbel (not included in the excursion pack - see notes below). Sail to Kom Ombo, visit the temple and sail to Esna via Edfu. Overnight onboard in Esna.
- Saturday; Sail to Luxor. East Bank visists; Luxor and Karnak temples. Overnight onboard in Luxor.
- Sunday; West Bank visits; Colossi of Memnon, Hatshepsut temple, Valley of the Kings & Valley of the Queens. Overnight onboard in Luxor.
- Monday; Check-out after breakfast
NB. This is a sister boat, guests will be accommodated on either M/S Karim Palace or M/S Juliana Palace. Visa cards are not accepted for extras. This cruise can be booked with or without shore excursion tours. The shore excursions can be booked locally but pre-booking is recommended as it represents a significant saving. The Abu Simble excursion costs approximately £124.00 by plane or £75.00 by road and can only be purchased locally. All Shore excursions are escorted by a professional Egyptologist English speaking guide.
M/S Karim or Juliana palace check in Monday, departure from Luxor on Tuesday at 12:00 pm. Please note, Nile Cruises can only be booked for 7 night durations.

Hotel Facilities
Facilities on the cruise ship include swimming pool, full air-conditioning, sun loungers, reception, main restaurant (80 persons), lounge bar (100 persons), Jacuzzi, sun deck bar, pub and bazaar.

Please note All Inclusive is sold as All Inclusive LIGHT during the Winter 2010 & Summer 2011 season (from 1st November, 2010 till 31st October, 2011) On all inclusive drinks are included from 6pm to 11pm served 3 times per week on sailing days (Beverages are charged for the remaining days).

Due to industrial action being taken by the Ministries of water, Tourism and Agriculture the operations of the Esna and Nega Hamadi locks will be disrupted. Customers going on a Nile cruise should note that it will take longer to navigate the locks and when travelling to excursions in the Luxor area, such as Karnak temple, the transfers will take longer than normal. If the locks close during the industrial action then please be aware that you will be taken by coach to the waiting cruise boats located above the affected locks (this is a 90minute bus transfer).
