The popular M/S Emely is a luxury cruiser perfect for intrepid travellers that want a dose of luxury with their adventures and there are various tours available, some of which are included in the cruise package. Good food, nice facilities and comfortable accommodation ensures satisfaction for the most exacting of guests while the crew offers true hospitality and a home away from home. Luxor Airport is 20 minutes from the docking point at Luxor Nile Port.  Please note, Nile cruises can only be booked for 7 night durations.


Local Tips: Your journey will start in Luxor and you will discover such wonders as Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Valley of the Kings, and more!

Food, drink and entertainment: The restaurant serves national and international cuisine in buffet form. There is a lounge bar and a bar by the pool deck. The main lounge has a music system and dance floor for evening entertainment, which includes Egyptian folklore and belly dancing.


Sports, games and activities: Small swimming pool, relaxing tables, chairs and sun beds surrounded by umbrellas, countless historical attractions – this is Egypt!

Friday: Sailing at 16:00 from Luxor to EDFU overnight

Saturday: Sailing to KOM OMBO at 10am – Arrival at 18:00. Sailing to ASWN overnight.

Monday: Sailing at 16:00 back to Luxor overnight in EDFU

Tuesday: Arrive Luxor overnight

Wednesday: Luxor overnight

Thursday: Check out.


All Inclusive board will be sold as All Inclusive LIGHT for the Winter 2010 & Summer 2010 & 2011 season (from 1st May 2010, till 31st October 2011).

Room Facilities

The M/S Emely features 40 cabins all with a full board with the exception of the lower deck twin cabin which is half board. All cabins offer a private bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, TV, mini-bar (with fee) and safe. A panorama window with view of the Nile can be opened.


Room types available include Upper Deck Cabin - Excluding Excursions - Nile View, Upper Deck Cabin - Including Full-Pack Excursion, Upper Deck Cabin - Including Mini-Pack Excursion, Promo Cabin excluding excursions with Nile View.

Errata/Building Works

01/02/2012 - 29/02/2012
Due to industrial action being taken by the Ministries of water, Tourism and Agriculture the operations of the Esna and Nega Hamadi locks will be disrupted. Customers going on a Nile cruise should note that it will take longer to navigate the locks and when travelling to excursions in the Luxor area, such as Karnak temple, the transfers will take longer than normal. If the locks close during the industrial action then please be aware that you will be taken by coach to the waiting cruise boats located above the affected locks (this is a 90minute bus transfer).
