The M/S 5* Angelotel Nile Cruises is two ships purposely designed to explore the wonders along the banks of the ancient Nile, traverse the route made famous by the Pharaohs. Local tips: this is the ideal way to see the magnificence that is the ancient Nile, most of which has remained unchanged for a millennia – you can truly open your imagination and see the world as Cleopatra would have from her Royal barge – and sip your favourite cocktail at the same time! It rarely gets any better than that.

Hotel Facilities

Food, drink and entertainment: an onboard restaurant provides meals international buffet style, with drinks served throughout the day into the small hours from the poolside bar or the lounge bar. Nightly entertainment includes folklore shows, Nubian style dancing, belly dancing, live music, disco, dancing and professional performers all hosted in elegant main lounge.


Sports, games and activities: the large open deck features a spacious swimming pool, two sun terraces with ample sun loungers and parasols, a non smoking library, fishing, snorkeling. At each port excursions are organized complete with tours of the relevant local points of interest and landmarks.


For the kids: childrens programs run throughout the season.

M/S Angelotel (M/S Le Scribe ) check in available Saturday after 15.00, all day Sunday, and Monday before midnight, departure from Luxor on Monday at midnight same day, M/S Angelotel (M/S Papyrus) check in available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before 07.00, departure from Luxor on Friday at 07.00

Errata/Building Works

01/02/2012 - 29/02/2012
Due to industrial action being taken by the Ministries of water, Tourism and Agriculture the operations of the Esna and Nega Hamadi locks will be disrupted. Customers going on a Nile cruise should note that it will take longer to navigate the locks and when travelling to excursions in the Luxor area, such as Karnak temple, the transfers will take longer than normal. If the locks close during the industrial action then please be aware that you will be taken by coach to the waiting cruise boats located above the affected locks (this is a 90minute bus transfer).
