Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana hotel is located on the south coast of the Dominican Republic, just 50 kilometres from Santa Domingo airport (45 minutes by car) and 25 kilometres from La Romana airport (35 minutes by car). It is 60 minutes from the town of Higuey, in the province of La Altagracia. This stunning hotel is set above a beach of white sand, with 2,800 metres of palm tree lined beach front. It extends over half a million square metres and has numerous tropical gardens with paths where clients can walk and, at the same time, enjoy the soft sea breezes and the freshness of their natural surroundings.

Hotel Facilities
The facilities in the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana are extensive with two large, lake-type pools one for adults and one for children and spacious solariums and gardens with sunshades and loungers. There is a towel service at the pools and beach, a mini-club for children aged 4-12 years, an amphitheatre for entertainment and shows, tennis courts, mini-golf, aquatic activity centre and sub aqua centre, and a spa with a fitness centre.
You can take part in both motor and wind-powered water sports; windsurf, catamaran, banana boating. There is the opportunity to take classes in tennis, football or volleyball and muscle building, aerobics or merengue dancing. You can play golf and go horse-riding and there are day and night time entertainment programmes for both adults and children.
All seven restaurants have air conditioning and serve exquisite local and international cuisine and there is a pool bar, beach bar, piano bar, and snack bar and with the Fully Inclusive facility drinks are served until 23.00 hrs. There is a burger bar open 24 hours a day.

In the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel there are 400 Junior Suites with a bath & Hydro massage tub and Jet shower situated in 2 and 3 storey villas.
All other rooms have either 2 full size (1,36m x 2m) or 1 king size bed ( 2m x 2m), a sofa-bed, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a fully equipped bathroom with a hair dryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, a private safe (extra charge), mini-bar and terrace.
